Vintage UM University of Minnesota Band Pin Brooch With Chain and S Pin

This unique and rare University of Minnesota band pin brooch features a chain with an attached letter S pin, possibly referencing the string section. The pin is unmarked, with the exact age and metal unknown. It was found alongside several University of Minnesota buttons, which supports its association with the university’s band program. The band has a storied history since its founding in 1892.
